Close up shots: This is a common convention of all music videos to emphasis the main role of the lead singer. 
Flash car:There are minimal props within this simplistic video however it does feature a flashy car which would suggest that there is a minimal budget but that the star is well known enough to afford this luxury. It makes the singer look impotant and tries to create this image of being a star. 
Simple setting: Again it seams that as this performer is not that well known the video has little funding so a simple cost free space is used.
